The Governor òf Bayelsa State, the Honourable Henry Seriake Dickson, has congratulated former Governor òf Delta State, Chief Janes Ibori as he clocks 61 on August 6, 2019.
The Governor described Ibori as a leader who understands the challenges of the people of the Niger Delta.
A statement by his Special Adviser, Media Relations, , Mr. Fidelis Soriwei, quoted the governor as having said that Ibori demonstrated his love for the Niger Delta and the struggle for better standard of existence in the deprived region.
The Governor stressed that Ibori is a leader who understands the challenges of the people of the region.
He also described the former Delta State Governor as one leader who understands and supports young people.
He said, “I celebrate with our elder, leader and former Governor òf Delta State, Chief James Ibori, who clocks 60 today.
“Ibori ranks among top personalities of the Niger Delta who have demonstrated unflinching commitment to and understanding òf the issues affecting the Niger Delta over the years.
“He is s leader who understands and supports young people to succeed in politics.
“I join millions of Nigerians to pray to God to give Chief Ibori more years of good health.”
